Tonight we took a few car loads of Dreamers to see the Florida International University football team take on the University of Louisiana Monroe. The evening kick-off with a brisk temperature of 50 degrees was outstanding football weather!
Ms. Hill and I were accompanied by The Smiths' (Jaimesha), The Williams' (Jaja), and The Browns' (Malik) as we all packed our cars with Dreamers. The homecoming atmosphere was amazing, as thousands of students and fans gathered in the parking lots, cooking, playing games, and dancing.
In the end, the game was a thriller, as FIU won in overtime. The cool weather was a perfect opportunity for the Dreamers to gather close, drink hot chocolate, and cheer on the home team! GO PANTHERS!!
